The Bella Sante Decleor Foot Facial

The Bella Sante Boston Spa has an amazing location right on Newbury St. I scheduled my appointment for the morning of a weekday because I predicted this is when the spa would be less busy (thankfully I was right). To start off, scheduling an appointment is wicked easy and the staff were very friendly when I had to reschedule. After exiting the elevator and stepping into the spa, I knew that even though the spa is located in the city it was it’s own little corner of bliss. I liked that there was music playing to complete the peaceful ambiance of the spa, at most two other customers and a receptionist ready to assist me.

The receptionist collected my belongings and escorted me to the seating area where there was ample seating room, a juice bar of fruit infused water/tea and tea nuts. Even though my visit was only for the Decleor Foot Facial I was offered the option of changing into a robe and soft flip-flops, I was grateful for the option but declined. The locker rooms are very clean and are stocked with all the accessories for your grooming needs. The showers are enclosed with curtains and the bathrooms are like individual rooms if you wish to change in privacy, I suggest this because the locker/changing area is right near the door and doesn't offer much privacy.

I wasn't sitting there long before my nail technician came to get me. After picking out my nail color from an arrangement of Essie and OPI, I was brought back to three snugly arranged massage seats with the bath at the foot. I sat down and my nail technician started the massage to my liking and asked me if the temperature of the hot water was okay. I appreciate the attention to detail as well as the personalization for my experience.

The Decleor Foot Facial is an eighty-minute treatment at the price point of ninety dollars. I am a soccer player and runner; this treatment is a post-season miracle worker. After having my feet exfoliated, massaged with anti-aging serum and snuggled in warm paraffin filled with a butter mask, it is obvious that this treatment is focused on hydration. This being said, I would definitely recommend this treatment at the Bella Santé Boston spa. I would personally treat myself to this once a season: before and after summer, post sports team, etc.

To end the pedicure treatment, my Jack Roger sandals (hence the pics of Jack Rogers and pedicures) were carefully placed on my feet and my nail technician assisted me to the seating area to allow my nail polish to fully dry before I depart. Whilst my nails dried I enjoyed the view of Newbury St., sipped on peach tea and munched on some tea nuts before checking out. I had to really fight the urge to stop random pedestrians and show off my gorgeous toes and baby soft heels. I recommend the Bella Sante Boston spa if you are looking for a short getaway from a hectic schedule. You will have to pay the price to feel nice but, in the end, a moment of relaxation is worth it.
